Solomon Islands Hook in4 Health Team ran their first 3 day holiday program in the middle of June. It was a true example of an integrated program with an emphasis on participants with an understanding of how to Live Well, Learn Well, and Lead Well through Hockey.
Solomon Islands Hook in4 Health (Hin4H) Team made an outstanding effort from April to provide Primary and Secondary children with an integrated hockey/health experience.
President Tyyab Ikram had visited Australia earlier in 2024. He returned in May to meet with Hockey New Zealand before travelling to Fiji to attend the OHF AGM.
After a very successful promotion of hockey at the Pacific Games in Honiara near the end of 2023, there was significant interest in the Hook in4 Health roles when they were advertised by lead partner OHF.
PNG National Men's player Martin Kanamon has now returned to Lae, after successfully winning a Silver medal at the Pacific Games and has immediately started 2024 with a Hook in4 Health youth program.
