Pomat Kanamon joins Hin4H Team in Papua New Guinea

Lola Ilumpui visited Lae last year and Pomat helped out as a volunteer during Lola's school visits. Pomat decided to continue offering a hockey opportunity to children. He started with a small group but by mid 2023 had built that group up to 54 children and 9 volunteers. Pomat will continue to develop the opportunities in the Lae area.

Currently Pomat has been training with the National Squad in Port Moresby in preparation for the Pacific Games. This has allowed Pomat to work beside the Port Moresby Hin4H team and learn more about the programs.

Hin4H Program Manager Gill Gemming visited in September and this allowed a formal introduction to occur along with the organisation of uniform and program manuals.
